A photo a day of Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills & Palos Verdes Estates, located on the hills of PV peninsula at the southwestern tip of Los Angeles county
When I was little, my mother and I used to call these towers "men from Mars," since they reminded her/us of the Martians in War of the Worlds. Lovely lighting.
I love the composition with the angled tower and the blue and white sky. I missed this week with all the moving, but saw a great sun dog today that I might share next week. - Margy
I really like this photo. It has great depht because of the contrast in colour and texture of the water tower and the sky. The angle makes it dynamic. A striking image which I enjoy looking at.

Nice composition and sky too.
I really like the 1st photo on yesterday post. It looks fantastic!
Truly beautiful sky with cloud formations that "make" the photo. The silhouette of the water tower offers a great contrast.
Wow, that's dramatic! If this is El Segundo, where is El Primo? Sorry...bad joke...
Nice. We have had some beautiful skies lately. And of course, I love all sorts of towers and windmills and such.
gorgeous sky... beautiful photo...
Magnificent. You nailed this one. It really is sharp shooting.
No fair! you get the best skies south of us. I've got a tick tick weekend alert up
Great cloud capture. The tower looks like something out of Ayn Rand. Very macho.
I like the light and the fluffy clouds. Great SWF post.
Ooh Tash - that is a good one. Makes me dizzy.
Thanks for encouraging me, there was some problem, but San Pedro Daily Photo is now on CDP. Thanks!
