New / Hope (2 Things Challenge)

The footprints are new and seeing them always gives me a hopeful feeling.
Taken at south side of Portuguese Bend bay, down from the Old Ocean Trails access point. It's one of the few sandy beaches at PV where dogs are allowed.
The post was inspired by Bibi of
"A Yankee in Belgrade".

How sweet is this picture? Is that little Amy ditching you to catch up with the jogger?

I like the curve in the doggy's route. Avoiding the water maybe?

So clever use of the footprints along the beach. Good use of leading line

Gosh, thanks, Tash. Bibi has actually been to the US (Seattle and Oregon) and has left her small footprints on many a beach. This is a lovely photo!

Walking to our future, one with hope for a better year.

I find this photo absolutely excellent. I like the perfectly grainy aspect of the sand and the fact that the human footprints lead into the water.

My avatar, on the other hand, doesn't see what the big deal is. He would never walk anywhere near water or wet sand anyway...

It never fails, I leave for a few days and when I come back, the jaw drop. This is just perfect, the New Year made real.
