Full Moon & Waning Sunlight
From Saturday night at a turnout on the winding PV Drive East, with the side mirror reflecting the sunset over the Pacific.
Great shot but were you driving when you took this??HA I'll have to spank your hands if you were. I get onto DC Confidential about it all the time. This time I'll forgive you because the photo is so good-ha
Tash, you have definitely crossed over to manga territory here. do you know that literally means "whimsical pictures"? There's a story here, with the rising moon, as our heroine waits at the turnout with the sun setting behind her, and those glaring headlights popping up - is it a random stranger, or her expected rendezvous?
Joseph Cotton is racing round the bend towards a darkened sedan where Peter Lorre waits nervously behind the wheel whilst the smoke from Sydney Greenstreets cigar wafts out the rear window.
You can run, but you can't hide. Someone emailed me something about this past weekend's moon. The biggest, closest, brightest -- something like that. I was sacrificing a chicken at the time, so wasn't able to read the whole thing.

Whoa! This is a cool shot, moon and sunset at the same time!
This is brilliant, Tash. It's like some kind of modernist painting. Wow.
