Crash at the Corner

It's not a post I planned for a Sunday, but it may serve as a reminder for everyone to slow down the frantic pace before the holidays.
I'm not sure how the accident happened. I had just walked up the road from that corner with our dog, and when I looked back, saw the firetrucks and the police. At least two people were injured.

This is sad. I hope the parties that were injured are ok. Great photos.

We have that here. The road toll for the official Christmas season is already way high. And we have rain forecast for the end of the week. People dont drive to the conditions.

At least we are not snowed in.

With the wet weather we've had up here, the number of accidents has increased exponentially.

Good reminder for us all, Tash!

BTW - «Louis» has added a link to your blog in his right side bar.

That was not so good, but it happens now and then. My niece is so kind och good. I love her very much. She is 17 and she is an exellent bowman. She was winning the Christmas competition this year. I am so proud of her.

I've taken a couple of shots like this, when I happened to be at the scene of an accident. Haven't posted them. Not sure why. I should have, I think. They make for an interesting post.
