...always get me down?"... Not really. On Saturday, we had the much needed rain. Since it rains so rarely, I think most everyone in the LA area enjoys it. Except on the freeways. They are usually a mess when it rains.

You could have some of ours any time.
Very...diagonal rain. You're sure it isn't from a Universal Studios special effects machine?
That's what I call a driving rain. It almost looks like snow on the bottom of the trees and grass. I'm assuming you were indoors keeping yourself and your camera dry. We also had a lot of rain yesterday. We went from 12 degrees on Saturday to rain and 45 on Sunday.
wow what a cool shot dear Tash, I liked a lot this first one!
I don't like rainy days either but I'm learning to keep on with this :)
We had a wet November here.
As you saw in our post, we had some snow early afternoon yesterday.I'm so happy, it was really a beautiful moment in my life!
now...I want MORE! :)

Like it cool photo.
You really nailed the rain in this one. Nice shot. I always wondered if the people in LA can even find the windshield wiper controls.
Great title for these super wet photos.
Dramatic photo, Tash! Rain is funny; when you need it you don't get it and when you don't need it, it pours.
We were in a drought until recently. Now, we've got more than enough rain and more on the way!
We came to LA for a week of sun and fun, well at least a week of work. We know the rain is very needed, but wish we had missed it by one week. - Margy
Ah, that top photo is a winner.
I'm sure it must be a joy for your people down there to see water. A rare sight for y'all!
I love the first shot. You really captured the feel of rain in this one!
The first shot is really great - it's not so easy to capture rain.
I'll subscribe to that title :-)
Both great pictures. The falling rain is especially good--I've often wondered how one would capture it.
I missed this one last weeekend, Tash, but it captured my eye on Aleni's Honour Board.
It is a precious capture and and excellent choice for B&W. I love the slanting dashes of rain, but also what that does to the grey scale of the entire image.
Bravo!
