Horseless Carriage 8153
Quick stop at the gas station at the corner of Hawthorne & Silver Spur. Giddy-up! (The owner/builder was kind enough to pause for a picture.)
It was great hearing from you and your thoughtful comments onmy new blog. I looked at a lot of your pix and it took me so much to my childhood. I lived in Hollywood Riviera but of course spent so much time at Malaga Cove. Also my sister lived on Wildbriar off of Montemalaga. My best friend lived on Via del Monte., names I haven't said or thought of in years.
t could be Santa Claus in disguise, trying not to draw attention of people? Anyway if that were the intention, it could be more discreet! This car is fashion and reminded me that cartoon mad rush. LOL Léia

Has quite a bit of horse-power.
I don't give a second thought to the street name Silver Spur since I drive it every day. I like Gerald's comment.

I am intrigued to note that the driver is wearing a bicycle mirror on his sunglasses!
oh my! I'm speechless
Horseless carriage indeed. Is it the new Pony Express?
If one build a thing like that the less he can do is posing for every photographer he meets! Great catch!
Talk about being in the right place at the right time!!

Very funny shot !
What an amazing contraption - I mean creation!
That's great! I want one.
The driver looks like a great character. I've never seen a California license plate like that one before.
Very cool!
Brings a whole new meaning to Horse Power!
What an amazing contraption!
What a hoot (Gibson) so to speak. Lucky photo capture. You don't see one of those every day! - Margy
