"Monochrome Monday"
I gotta remember that one, nT. Gonna add it next to Mundane Mondaze.
Tash, what a wonderful woman you are! Thanks so much for all that info about the figures. It all makes sense when I look at them! Are you a proffesional researcher? You should be if not!
Though you got the restaurant elephant puzzle all wrong! Answer revealed tomorrow.
Thanks again :)
Btw - lovely monochrome!
The monochrome brings out the calmness of the evening. Such a gracious building, framed by imposing trees.
Hi dear Tash
This shot is very impressive, I liked those trees silhouettes and the building at the background, with a harmonious composition!

Magical lighting. I love the delicacy of the trees against the sky.
I appreciate the link to the 1925 photos. I'm assuming those barren hills are now covered with homes. If not, I applaud the person who had the foresight to not allow development. It appears however, that if you didn't have a car, it was quite a hike to the library.
Yes, you should be a professional researcher as Marley said.
The building looks great in b+w. Nice long shot.
A lovely photo, I like how you used the trees in the foreground.
The Road to Here
Wow, everything looked so barren back in 1925.
I went to the flikr site. I look at the hill behind the center and wonder if that was native California bush or was it planted for grazing? Maybe the Portuguese, while lovers of the sea, may have had some sheep loving Basque among them.
great B&W shot
thanks for sharing this one.
Nice one again, Tash. I think I remember this building.
I like the cloud between the trees, it looks like the sky is opening up.
