Coffee Break

The window tables at Bristol Farms' cafe in Redondo Beach at PCH and Palos Verdes Blvd. Nice place to take a breather during the holiday hustle & bustle.

Even a little triangle of the ocean can be seen. (I debated with myself about cropping out the cell-phone...and decided to leave it. It's just part of today's scene & I like being 'connected'.)

I love how you guys call the cell phones and we call them mobiles.

I think these are terrific. Definitely cell-phone in.

That first shot has such sensitivity to it. The angle of her shoulder, the light, really a nice composition.

Love the play of light and shadow on all photos.

I just call it my phone now since it's the one I use the most! Those are great photos Tash. The sun looks nice and warm. It got down in the 20's here in north Fla this morning and my birdbaths are frozen!

Hi, Tash! Greetings from India! I have now a brief Internet connection and just wanted to say thanks for being such a faithful follower of my blog. I like the lighting on these photos of yours--no time now to browse back!

Happy New Year!

If I was feeling better I think I'd jump in the car right now and take a spin down to your hood. That little peek of water is a tease.

Thanks for stopping by. Looks like a great place for a cuppa. We have some nice independent coffee shops here in Powell River, but we also have the ubiquitous Starbucks. And in the near future we are getting Tim Hortons. Still considered a Canadian institution even though it merged with US-based Wendy's in 1995. Good coffee, great doughnuts, especially the creme filled Canadian Maple. - Margy
