Mirlo Gate Lodge Tower and its mail box tower.
I wish I could visit inside sometime.
"The 'Stone Tower' was bt by the Palos Verdes Homes Association in 1926 from the plans of the architect Clarence E. Howard submitted in Nov. 1925. Intended for a gated entrance located on Parkland, it was deeded to Palos Verdes Estates in 1939 and has been occupied by various tenants to maintain and preserve the tower." - RPV Historical Society plaque

I've never seen this...and is the little tower a dog house? How do we get on the tenet waiting list?
I see your image visiting this place, opening the door, and walking inside, to tell us all on the outside what's going on.
What a cute building, a bit like the old windmils in Provence.
Very cute! Looks like some place in Europe. Go inside...
Go knock on the door Tash. You're a famous PV blogger.
I have never seen this. Thanks for sharing. The mail box is great! I hope you get inside sometime! If you do, make sure to have your camera handy.
Sweet little mailbox! Every home should have a matching one. In fact we don't have them at all in the UK - wonder why?
Please show us inside!
God bless you!

It must be fun to live in a place like that!
this is pretty cool. i wonder what it would be like to live in a perfectly round house.
Simply wonderful... that's a crazy stonework, but lovely, creative and amazing!
Could be a picture taken in Southern Europe!
If you work out a visit, I would love to join you. I hear the guard lives there without electricity. Amazing place.
