'J' is for Joshua Tree (abc Wednesday)

This Yucca brevifolia is by the Crystalair Soaring Field in Llano. It's my calendar shot of a less then attractive yucca species. However, the Joshua tree is one way to know that you are in a Southern California desert.

Come February in Minnesota, I'd be happy to hug an unattractive Joshua tree in the desert!

That's a great angle! It reminds me a little of what we call Spanish bayonets around here.

Like and enjoy your photos. By the way, our daughter's name is Natasha, by someway, her friends always call her Tash.

Yucca Valley is one of my favorite placers to camp. Just a nut for Joshua trees
