Long Point - 2009 and 1960
New Terranea Resort at Long Point (opened June 2009) - aerial photo from last May's flight with my son and his instructor. Marineland of the Pacific, circa 1960's. (Curtesy of PV Interpretive Center poster).
Is this part of the Trump development? that marine land image is a great find. I remember visiting as a kid. Not the wo wo power of Disneyland but still a special place.
I remember many happy days as a boy visiting Marineland. Now, I am looking forward to visiting the Resort. Lori Lynn says there are some potentially good restaurants there.

Great comparison shots! Progress is not always a good thing.

I really like then and now shots! That is a very impressive looking resort.
Prime land. Wonder how the resort landed it.
