'L' is for Library - Malaga Cove Plaza Historic Library

Join ABC Wednesday .

Libraries, my favorite places in Palos Verdes and elsewhere. This one is very special.

I too am a fan of Libraries. In fact we have a small local one within walking distance.

This one you have shared is really beautiful.

Looks like an old-fashioned neighborhood library!

Tash, excellent picture, with the angle of the roof from the left and the other rooflines above. Thanks, Fran W.

It's a lovely building showing the influence of Spanish architecture that Southern California is known for.
My local library is basically just a plain rectangular building ... it does have a "tin" roof, so guess that's indicative of old Floridian homesteads.

I loved that library, and driving down into Lunada Bay to get there. For years, it was the only library. I'd get the limit on the number of books you could check out and then read them all in one day. And I loved the fountain. Is it still there?

Really good L post. Love the tile roofs and Spanish-style architecture. Our local branch has a similar style but is teeny, tiny.
