Clearing (SkyWatch Friday & Weekend Reflections)
At St. Francis Episcopal church, Palos Verdes Estates, which is surrounded by pine trees and an eucalyptus grove (some of which are the original trees planted in PVE during the early development days in 1920's).
Very, very nice. I have always tried to do this kind of shot but never successfully. The color, ths shape of the puddles, the clarity of the reflection all mixed with the immediate, split-second flip-flop your mind does when it first sees it.
Amazing imagery ! I haven't figured out how the reflection was created but it's certainly awesome. Much like watching a fantastic magician do a mind boggling trick ... completely mesmerizing !
