NOW OPEN - New cafe in a PV classic building

The building originally housed the General Store and is the design of the famous local architect, Walter Swindell Davis (1897-1973). He had a panache for octagonal spaces, of which there are several in Palos Verdes. Inside the new French-American style cafe is just delightful (Virginia, I think you'd approve.)

Wow, that looks like a cool spot for a bite! I never think of these kinds of buildings in PV, so it's great to learn about the architect. (I guess I should get around more in PV to see his work!)

Such a charming building, has a lot of character. As far as the cafe offerings; I'm afraid I'd never be able to get any further than that amazing dessert cart. :)

This is such a fabulous addition to our neighborhood! I had a honey vanilla latte and loved it.
