An Afternoon in Manhattan Beach (3) - FOCUS & Focused

FOCUS (self-explanatory) with an unfocused view of the beach looking south toward Palos Verdes

I watched the little girl for a bit and during that time she was totally focused on her task.

Good choice of images for 'focus' and 'focused.'! We all need to remain focused! :)

Clever photo. This is a rather unusual color for a government to buy to paint public property

I LOVE that color!

The subjects you found and captured for the theme of "focus" are marvelous. I really love the way that turquoise scope pops out bright and clear. The little girl is just precious, so deep in her task of searching for shells ... or perhaps treasure.

I read it as a cinematic narrative

a. we see the telescope
b. what it's focused on

I remember the binoculars on the piers. Good fun for kids and grown-up alike. - Margy

That telescope has a character all its own. Looks like a little guy from outer space. I mean that in a good way.
