Winter at Lake Mary (Away from Home)

Snow covered lake with foolish people crossing (successfully) - at least it made for a good photo.
Wider view of Lake Mary with my friend K-L in the foreground - click HERE to see the summer view of the lake.
Snow-hatted hut at the start of Lake Mary cross-country trail.

Wow, the first photo sure shows the 'blindness' a good snowfall can create! I think I will go make some hot chocolate now.

This looks like a day that ends with rosy cheeks, a hearty appetite and a good night's sleep.

As I type, it's snowing here...hope we don't end up like this, but these photos are beautiful, soft, and silent.

Where is this taken? I doubt it is the Lake Mary near Flagstaff (though I remember people being able to drive across that lake when I was a kid!).
