Girls with Blue & White Umbrellas

As I drove home on Saturday from taking photos of St. Francis, I spotted these darling girls were twirling the umbrellas. I asked if I could take their picture as I drove by and they instantly posed. Then one asked why I wanted their picture. I said it was because they looked so cute - which they certainly did.
This is my NO PRESSURE TUESDAY shot... ;)

Oh, so cute. And I must admit I'm surprised that you posted them, not because they're not adorable and it's an innocent photo, but I'm always so concerned when in the US with taking kids' pics without their parents' consent. People sometimes make such a fuss, and I feel like I'm some sort of 'pervert' in asking!

Very fun photo! I totally get Bibi's comment though...it would make me nervous too...although it's my understanding that you can take pics of pretty much anything from a public spot, like in the road...the glitch comes if the pic is used for financial gain, then a model release is required, or they share/get the profits...I imagine it would also be illegal to take the pic and use it for perv purposes!!! But that's a different issue!!!

The Chieftess is right on the mark regarding remuneration ... the use is the key issue.

Huge umbrellas! Bet they're having great fun ... barefoot, too.

I hope it wasn't windy, or they might have taken off with the size of these brollies.

I'd be cautious about taking photos of unknown children, but Britain is rather paranoid about that sort of thing. Mind you, if it was my child, I'd probably feel paranoid. Sad, in so many ways.

But your photo itself is full of joy.
