Not so ticky-tacky houses...

...but they do almost look the same. The complex is just above the Golden Cove Center and just below the Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall.

Nice row of houses. Are they really any good or not? The sky is incredible!

Nice homes unil they slide down the hillside, tight? Palos Verdes is a gorgeous place. (I lived in Pacific Palisades as a kid and loved the views and hiking the hills behind us. Thank you so much for visiting me at Tampa Daily Photo.

ooh these are ugly. I suppose some attempt to detail was given to the wall with one window on the far left. That faux roof extension of one single line of roofing tile. gads
I refuse to believe this is what they're teaching them at architectural school

what an insult to a beautiful hillside. I find houses like this positively chilling.

Obviously a lot of different perspectives on this type of construction. I see the CA people are all of one mind. My first thought was ET and then, do they all have extra fire insurance.

My dear Tash!
This shot is fabulous! I was wondering if it is expensive, I mean about one of those lovely houses?
Great post

Rather grand houses on a British scale. Do they have bigger gardens at the other side - it seems curious that there's so much land around and such a tiny garden. I remember hearing that song about 'little boxes' as a child (I presume that's what your 'ticky-takcy' refers to) and wondering what on earth 'ticky-tacky was.

I like the idea that these homes don't take too much land. They look like I would love living in one of them and wouldn't mind a tiny garden either, as long as their are comunal parklands nearby.
