My friend L. (in the photo below) and I took a walk from northern end of San Pedro to the southern end of Portuguese Bend beach, along the cliffs. This is typical of the marine layer mornings (Lori Lynn described the marine layer in San Pedro Daily Photo) or June Gloom (that starts in May). The fog usually burns off by noon and then rolls back in in the afternoons. We did have a bit of color along the way.

Looks so remote and untouched -- almost like the best parts of northern calif.
June gloom indeed! Is the vegetation brown because it's been burnt already, or has it still to grow this year?
You are so blessed Tash to have this quality of life! This place is breathtaking!I could stay there, like you in the second shot, looking this amazing view for hours!
What a wondeful world.... ;-)

Just a beautiful place to share a walk with a friend.

I like the splash of colour :)
What a great coastline...foggy, I like!
I've walked this trail. If I enlarge the photo of L I can see one of Trumps faux waterfalls.
Doesn't seem like the most popular area.
So nice, and again, nostalgic for me. Do they let dogs run here...?
Tash: It's great seeing Portguese Bend. I remember as a youngster there was a big slide there. Also the wreck of the Dominator occured near there now so long ago. Btw, my sister used to live on Wildbrier off of Montamalga.I still have friends in the neighborhood. Maybe you can visit Bend Or. I think you'll like it too.
Looks romantic and calm:)
Thanks for the mention Tash! That was a neat surprise!
You definitely captured the feel of the cool fog.
We are definitely going to run into each other one of these days.
