It's the worst of "June gloom" as today is the 2nd day of complete mist in PV. It would be a good time to have snuggle up next to a fire and read a book. But, in May, the local markets do not carry fire wood and the animals want to be outside.Single minded Smokey on the balcony.

Great looking pets. I like the picture of Smokey, nice composition. At least the mist provided you with some nice pics.
I just have to tell you, the cat shot is fantastic, and your dog, wow, such a perfect photo! I love the idea of reading by fire to keep the June gloom at bay. I read the wether report and we may be in for a week of this! Keep cozy.
What beautiful animals!
Pets go good with everything:
misty days, good wine, books on tape, snuggles, the works.
Smokey looks a lot like my Sweet William Grey and Amy looks like she's been to Quantico for training in squirrel combat techniques.
I hope you see that beautiful blue sky soon, Your photos of the harbor and coast line are some of my favorites.
Now that's a switch. Misty and cold in LA and warm and sunny in the Pacific Northwest. We've had over a week of sun and warmth with only one day of rain. - Margy
Misty smoky cat
What has become of the world?
Had too much catnip?
Misty days are among my favorite kind; agree with you about the fire, though a hot cup of cocoa in a cafe overlooking the water would be okay. Cute pets!!
Verry funny portraits of lovely pets.
Excellent and very original photos!
Faulous expressions on their faces. It looks more like the autumn weather we have been having!
Sorry I haven’t been around much lately – life’s busy!
They are just adorable!
Good thing Amy protects the homestead. She obviously takes her job very seriously.
I'm celebrating June gloom! the LA endless summer (and I don't mean that in a positive way) will be bearing down on us of "the higher altitudes" soon enough.
Amy, Amy....over there...a squirrel...go get get it!!!
Your cat looks just like my cat! Two great pet portraits :)
Beautiful, magnificent looking dog!!
And for a cat, he looks ok.
A little mist won't stop those intrepid animals!
So cute. Love that you show both the cat and the dog in the mist, makes a great post.
