Evening at Malaga Cove Plaza (1)

Shown is the Gardner Building (from the right corner, posted before here) along with others that make up the West end of Malaga Cove Plaza.

In the comments for the previous post, Fran (a PV Library Trustee) shared that "The first Palos Verdes Library, a branch of LA County Library, was established in the Gardner Bldg in 1926. In 1928 the people voted to establish the PV Library District, and the Malaga Cove Library was opened on June 3, 1930."

Do I see rain?! It must be rainig all over. It is now 12 degrees centigrade here, and I'm cold!

But your photo is lovely; love the reflection! Maybe they had just been watering the grass? :<)

the right (north) side of the facing building was a drugstore in the 50's 60's )and on the left innerside was Shorebird bookstore, tucked back behind were little shops including a wonderful flower shop and a bakery where you could get coffee and a treat

I love it when you give the history. I found your blog when I google that red bike art up on Hawthorne.

The light is AMAZING! Anytime you want to go on a photoshoot together, I'd be happy to show you how I got those cookie bokeh shots!
