PVDP is Two ...

...and I'm celebrating with a DOUBLE Bird of Paradise.
The two years have gone by so fast. Thank you ALL for your encouragement and on-going comments that have kept me going when the daily routine got a bit ... routine. I'm so glad to have made the connections and friendships through this blog... As some of these friends have said..."Ain't blogging grand!"
... and now, let's continue with the game.

I always enjoy your pictures and reminders of all the good years down south. When I was a little girl I always thought people who had Bird of Paradise in their garden were rich. I have no idea where that came from, but when we moved to Long Beach and my mom planted some Bird of Paradise in the back yard I knew were is good shape (or at least it seemed so in my little mind). - Margy

Happy Birthday and congratulations! Two years, 730 photos and more because you doubled up...that's an accomplishment.

Love the birds of paradise too, they're one of my favorites.

Congratulations. I think I've been following you for nearly the entire two years.

The bird of Paradise. In the small form it looks like an illustration out of the 50's

Okay, so I'm a little late for the party, but party I'm going to. I just love your photos, Tash. And you know how connected they make me feel to my childhood landscape and the whole SoCal area. Your arrival on the CDPB blogging scene was a very happy day, and I wish you many more years of fun showing us, with your eagle eye and considerable skill behind that lens!, all the beauty, wonders, quirky and oh so interesting aspects of life in Palow Verdes and beyond. You have made for me favorite places I've yet to visit, like seaside chapels and glorious vistas with colorful flora cascading down hillsides. Someday, by hook or by crook, I hope to meet you, and maybe get a guided tour! :-). Big congrats on two superb years, and I look forward to many more of these happy anniversaries on PVDP.
