Here are two train bridges, one for the Metro Green Line light rail, over Rosecrants Ave. and Aviation Blvd. in Hawthorne, about 12 miles due north from Palos Verdes. I lived near by when my partents and I first moved to the US, and then when I started working in aviation after college. I remember the other (proper) train bridge as being the first one I saw in the New World.
See bridges from around the world at Sunday Bridges.

Great picture. I love all of the action and the double bridges are really neat.
Really nice shot Tash! Also I wanted to thank you for all the interesting information you found on the train I posted a picture of earlier in the week. It's fascinating!
everybody's on the move. great photo!
Two for one! Is that a light rail commuter train on the lower bridge?
Love the blur of speed of the train. And the evening light.
Gorgeous shot, I don't know if it would have been so nice with a blue sky, no lights and especially, no train rushing by. Have a great Sunday!
What a great shot!! All that action! ...... And I play croquet only occassionaly as the courts are 37 miles away from me.. But it is something I enjoy doing. Have a great day!
You even caught the train smack in the middle of the photo! Wonderful ;-D
Awfully hard not to see a red light at this intersection.
Great action shot, Tash. I love this.
Cool bridge. I like the movement of the train too!
Great motion and rhythm in this shot, Tash! Two bridges in this shot, plus one on your Mostly LA County blog gives you a "hat trick" for the day! Cheers!
motion on the bridge, perfect timing.
What a great shot. I think I'd prefer to be on the train.
Love that "frozen speed" image. The sound and the fury
Great shot. Best new photo I have seen today. You have talent.
Oh, I like this shot, especially because of all the red lights. :)
Oooo la la! And the streetcar is going warp speed over the bridge! Super capture, Tash.
