At Crystalaire

White on white - my son is flying solo in the Puchacz, a versitile Polish two-seater sailplane.
Glider pilots and instructors from the Southern California Soaring Academy, Llano, CA.
Amy with a new friend, AD.
(AD showed up at the field one day, looking very scrawny, and with a hurt leg, probably from a fight with a coyote. He's found a good home and is looking really well.)

So, nT, you were piloting the Purchaez?

Q: What's the difference beetwen a glider & a sailplane?

Amy doesn't appear two bee impressed. I saw a coyote yesterday evening in Glendale.

That's a beautiful shot, the first one! I like all, but NO1 caught my eye. Amy looks a bit stiff, not knowing what to make of AD!

I wasn't expecting the last photo to be Amy and AD. Your sailplane photos took my breath away & the Amy photo made me sigh. Great all around!

Wow, those snowy hills.

Looks like Amy doesn't want to get serious and would prefer they just stay friends.

Fantastic shot of the sailplane in the air Tash! I like the picture of the dogs too and so nice to know the dog found a good home.

His thuggish approach isn't impressing the Lady Amy.

The snow is all the way down. Very dramatic. That is one way to get to it.

What a stunning backdrop the snowy hills make for the already stunning gliders.
