Even though many residents disapprove, construction is on its way at the corner of Crestridge & Crenshaw. This plot is one of the last along Crestridge that's left for development (we all hope).

It's good to see your parts of So Cal are preparing for The Flood that gonna hit us soon.
What a super photograph of that digger. Hope whatever's going in to this place will be worth it to a majority of area residents.
This looks a lot like my backyard last fall when we had our in-ground swimming pool taken out. Lots of heavy equipment, noise, pounding and rattling. I keep wondering if we did the right thing. We'll have to wait for next summer.
I hear the storms are on their way. Stay dry. We had a balmy day today bringing with it dreams of spring.
It's hard to fight progress. But, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try if it is destroying natural beauty. Lori Lynn posted about some progress in her neighborhood recently. It's everywhere. Great shot, anyway, Tash!
Great entry! So many things in there that both push and pull.
Tash: I grew up there in the late 1950's and 60's Now that was a beautiful place then. Hawthorne Blvd was 2 lanes running through a dairy as it approached PCH!
Fun pic, fun to watch construction, despite ripping up land. I missed this week. Actually due to the cold weather and gray skies, I haven't been out photo-shooting in weeks.
Great shot for this challenge! I didn't make this one, but thanks for reminding me. I need to look for photos for the next one!
