Convict Lake Store

Camping out at Convict Lake is not really "roughing it" - for treats or any forgotten items, there is always the store. Adjacent to the store are cabins that are very popular with the fishing crowd.

This is my favorite way to camp..in close proximity to a general store.

Looks like you are having a grand trip. When I was little my dad would take us camping to fish at Convict Lake. It's been so long I don't remember much about it, but we camped and fished all over California and along the coast to BC. Maybe that's where I found my love for Canada. We've been up the lake for the whole month so I haven't had much time for blogging. Now I have a few days in town to get caught up. - Margy

Camp food is great, but it's always nice to go to a general store for an ice cream treat.

I'm not a tent sort of person (did it once and that was enough!) but the cabins sound perfect! And the store is even better :)
