Night Sky and City Watch - South Bay from Palos Verdes


The South Bay shoreline, with what I think are Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach piers, and Pacific Coast Hwy as the bright line in the middle, heading toward LAX. The view is looking north from the Ascension Lutheran Church parking lot at Silver Spur Dr.

That is just breath taking, Tash. Just wonderful. I recently read somewhere that once, when the sky cleared over Los Angeles, police and other agencies got loads of phone calls about all the strange lights in the sky - they turned out to be stars.
