Happy 4th of July!
The Eldorado reminds me of a '74-ish Chevy Monte Carlo my dad passed on to me in 1980. That car was a real beauty. We sold it later for $200 to a young man who was going to turn it into a low-rider. Maybe it's still running.
I found a wonderful painting (color woodcut on silk, mounted on rag paper) of the car by Robert Bechtle, Albany Monte Carlo, 1990 in a book by Crown Point Press.

Nice patriotic colors on an American auto.
Is the Cadillac division one of the survivors of the American auto industry?

Hapy 4th of July! Great colourful photo :)
Happy 4th of July to everybody, from Tuscany with love!
I always wondered if California did the red, white and blue license plate because of a desire to show a patriotic spirit or if someone just liked the colors...
Whatever, have a happy 4th!
Mr V's dad gave him his yellow Monte Carlo with the white top when he could no longer drive it himself. We had it into the 90's. It too went to someone with desires to cherry it out for the low rider car circuit.
Happy 4th and a great American luxury car the caddy is. love it.
An interesting twist on the theme. Thanks for visiting my blog. You may be pleased to see that I eventually caught up with a ferry and featured it in my post today.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
What a fabulous looking car! I bet it guzzles the gasoline though.
