Trails in Palos Verdes (SkyWatch Friday)
One of the benefits of being a blogger is that it makes me eager to explore areas of the peninsula I have not seen before. To find these, we bought (at a local gas station of all places) a really well done trail guide The Outdoor Guide to the PV Peninsula by Brad & Kristine Denton. This photo is from the Malaga Dunes Trails (the ancient dunes are now a big hill) at the western end of PV Country Club, looking toward the Valmonte neighborhood in the first photo and of Amy, our Golden, looking longingly toward the green grass of the golf course.

What a cool tree!! Great photos.
Like these shots a brunch!
The Long & Winding Road........................................
I like them both, but you know, if there's a dog in the picture...
Beautiful shots. The tree looks like its in motion and I love your dog gazing down the road. These are really nice photos.
Great skywatch.

The second photo is so funny, we could easily read the mind of Amy here.
The first image looks like a shot taken in the savannah, if not for the lush background.
ok...I want one of those maps. First photo is gorgeous. (or should I say lyrical for the sake of arty adjectives)
Very dramatic!
I love both these shots, but that second one sure makes you feel for the dog!
