Sweetness at First Cut

I remember my son's first official haircut. He was 3 years old and was so scared that he sat completely upright and perfectly still. This haircut scene at the PV mall remineded me of something Norman Rockwell would have painted.

A very contemporary Norman Rockwell.

Some child psychologist must have determined that orange is a calming color. It makes me dream of pumpkin pie, but that's just me I suppose.

The woman taking a photo of her son, and the girls looking through the window really add to the "coolness" of the photo.

He had his brush, you have your camera and this is enough for us. Even the mother of the First Cut is taking pictures of the moment...
Wonderful image, great colors and excellent composition.

I think Norman would have been scratching his head over the computer monitors in the portholes.
