Anther photo from last Sunday's workshop with nature photographer George Lepp. He liked this shot but thought it could use a point of interest. The bees just didn't go for this flower. I thought it was a calla lily, but now I don't think so. I know that
Pasadena Adjacent, Lori Lynn of
San Pedro Daily Photo, and
Altadena Hiker will be able to tell me the name of the flower.

Great macro shot.
May I ask what camaera you use?
I'm going to ignore this challenge in order to say: Wow, your son, the young pilot, is featured in PV News! Don't be so modest, post the link, Tash. Ian is remarkable, and that's thanks in part to an equally remarkable Mom and Pop.
I love this macro...very nice!
Love that color! I think it's great the way it is...

Beautiful colors. I would have said the point of interest was in the upper right quadrant where all the red lines seem to be leading.
Point of interest? How about that big red stripe crawling out of the center? Works for me!
Super job. Nope, don't know the name either.
Have a great day!
You are an excellent student Tash. This is truly beautiful and vibrant.
I agree with B, you are a good student. This is fabulous. Jacob found the point of interest and I agree with him too.

Wow, it's a doozy. I have no idea what it is.
PV is in Westways this month, and I thought of you. You always show us how beautiful it is there.
beautiful colours !
I too saw your handsome son in your loco news. Flying is gonna be his bizness.
btw, am I a day ahead, or where is your Sunday photo??
I hope that someone will leave the name of the flower. We have these flowers around our condo o the beach in Costa Rica. I posted a photo of one of them on my site about a year or so ago, and I was embarrassed when I posted it that I did not know the name either. It is not in my book on Costa RIcan plants. When I saw your post, I thought "On boy, now I will find out the name."
Wow !
You got me stumped. Maybe if I could see the whole plant?
Beautiful shot!
Thanks for linking me :)
