Moody Skywatch Friday
A mile south from the masion I posted on Wednesday, from a roadside turnoff on PV Drive West, the lighthouse and Catalina Island come into view. The lighting conditions provide a rare view of the hillside details of the island.
All that great southern California architecture. Mr. Hat isn't the owner of the chain. I'm not sure, but I think he is manager of the Temple City "The Hat." They are a small chain in the LA Basin. He was lots of fun, and the pastrami was a big bonus! - Margy
This is a great view of Catalina. Is the depression in the skyline of Catalina Two Harbors? I had remembered the declining in elevation of mountains tapering off a little more gradually towards Two Harbors, but I do not remember any other gap in the Catalina skyline.

Tash, your blog always makes me wish I had more time for web surfing. It's just so lovely here on your pages.
Excuses.
Anyway, nT, this is one of your special photos!

Tis a beautiful view for sure. I think that's the lighthouse of which you gave us a closer look awhile back, right?

That could be the fog that rolls in off the coast here. So low the coverage and it would make a ideal subject to paint.
