Thacker Berry Farms Stand

In California, we are fortunate to have a great selection of fresh fruit year round but the fruit is not always very flavorful. These strawberries really do live up to the claim of being fresh and sweet, and most of all, full of flavor.
The stand is located at the edge of Palos Verdes in San Pedro, at Western Ave and 9th St. The man running the stand was nice enough to let me take a photo.

Oh those strawberries look great and I bet the smell is wonderful! That is definitely one thing I miss about Ca, the produce, and the great little produce markets. I haven't found one since leaving Ca.
LOL at the look on his face, he's kind of looking at you like "why are you taking this picture, crazy Californians" lol...

Nice shot of a picturesque stand, with collateral effects: I'm gonna get strawberry at the market!

Mmmm you're making my mouth water now!

Actually Scotland produces some pretty good strawberries, which always did surprise me - we certainly don't have your fruit-friendly weather!

Always remember the strawberries in Calif. this time of year. We have them here, but it's just not the same.

That is probably the thing I miss the most about living in California...

Gee Tash, we are on the same wavelength, I took Wilson for a walk up to Friendship Park just the other day, and guess what I took some pics of on the way?
I haven't tried their strawberries though, I need to buy some next time. Love your close-up shot.

They look great. But look is not always taste, as I learned from living many years in Holland (green house grown fruits and vegetables. Splendid and tasteless).

I wonder who the grower is...local maybe?
