"Putto" with dolphin - "Fontana del Nettuno" (detail)
Tash, your little imp is a sight. I love reading all those Italian words with their vowels and sing song sounds, but then again, I like any kind of Italian connection. I recently found this link about a NY Times piece on Edward Weston's photographs of the California coast and thought you might like to see it. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2009/03/29/travel/20090329-weston.html?th&emc=th

Your sky is stunning! I took almost the same photo one. That statue makes for great photographs!

It would have been cute, but the dolphin looks kind of mad! I guess I would be too if I were held like that! ;)
I think it's charming. But I see what Hilda's saying, like a kid pulling a dog's tail.
Extraordinary detail indeed!
Perfect blue to contrast to white in this picture!
Kind Regards

Beautiful composition against the blue sky. Here it's raining...
Such fine detail. I like the contrast of the white and blue.

I like this statue with the blue sky. nice contrast.
Beautiful statue in the fountain. It really stands out against the deep blue sky.
