This field of mustard grass is on the bluff above Abalone Cove. Inspired by Pasadena Adjacent's recent treck to the one beach in PV I've never been to, we decided to go there last Sunday morning and were rewarded with splendid views.

It is so green I almost find myself wanting to ruminate...
What a stunning photo. It looks well worth the trip.
Thanks for finding the name of the church for me. I said the other day I was feeling lazy and uninspired, I hope it'll pass. I might take a break next week...
Anyway, many thanks :)
The greens, yellows, and blues in this photo have brought a smile to me. I'm am so tired of the winter blah's. Thank you for your Gorgeous Green post.
The tender green has me drooling with envy...
But what about that fabulous sky!!!!
Thanks for the link. I don't think it was that pretty of a day when I was there. Did you find the archery range? It's up the road some then down into a cove. It has a chain across the road leading down so you can't park.
The sky... yes, the sky.
The grass is nice but it wouldn't be much without that sky!
Mustard grass in great accord with drifting clouds and blue sky.
Love this shot.
PS. Yes, beginning of this year they started a test with a micro-brewery at a pub.
I love the sky, it gives the photo some extra oompf!
The white of this strange clouds in a blue sky mirrors the yellow patches on the grass. Beautiful.
I thought you were still in Napa! I guess the climates aren't that dissimiilar. Looks like paradise, it does.
A very lovely photo. Not only did you get that nice green grass, but the sky, with the clouds, is stunning, and greatly complements the shot. Nice "G" post.
i've been feeling overwhelmed with snow so it was very nice looking at your picture of the field of grass. The sky is awesome too!
Green grass is something we don't have much of at present; a lovely scene.
Great composition of blue and green! Nice view!
How wonderfully nice to see green and blue - the sky is awesome...
How marvelous that you were there enjoying the green grass and the spectacular view. The clouds are the icing on the cake!
That is a really really stunning picture, the clouds look like they're emanating from the horizon. fantastic!
I love this one.
This is gorgeous! and what a sky as well! Thanks for sharing!
Good clouds, I like its
A great composition. But I loved the sky more than the grass.

the color and texture in this photo is so energetic. Great capture. I have signed up as a follower to see more of your photos. I likes the Neptune photo also. I am glad you enjoyed the Saguaro cactus on my website.
This is a wonderful image, and it makes me want to run through that flowery field. Gorgeous colors!
Beautiful photo - such gorgeous colours! I wish our sky was that blue right now!
Lovely green! I can feel the warmth in this photo---what a great cloud formation, too.
Hey! Just saw you spoke of me! Thank you---and I sure would love to romp there again, so nostalgic is the name Abalone Cove.
very verdant - love it
wow ! beautiful scenery !!
stunning! Thanks for visiting my blog, and yes, some parts of the Brooklyn Navy Yard has been preserved, the whole places hums with business except for the places I photographed! That is wild that your dad worked there.
I always loved the green hills around Los Angeles in the winter/spring. It was my favourite time of year. Thanks Tash for the dedication. I will check out my fellow ex-pats next. This week I went with geese. I just saw the first pair return. I invite you to come see. - Margy
What a glorious sky! You put everyone on SWF to shame with this one. just fabulous, Tash.
Great photo. Love the clouds.
We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. A few years ago I took my dogs for a run in the mustard, they were all hot and panting, I captured a shot I call Hot Dogs and Mustard.
