'G' is for Green Grass (abc Wednesday)

This field of mustard grass is on the bluff above Abalone Cove. Inspired by Pasadena Adjacent's recent treck to the one beach in PV I've never been to, we decided to go there last Sunday morning and were rewarded with splendid views.
This post is also for Kim in Seattle, Bibi in Belgrade, Margy at Powell River and Mlle Gramophone who have all spend time on this coastline in their teens.
Join Mrs. Nesbitt's ABC Wednesday Round 4!

What a stunning photo. It looks well worth the trip.

Thanks for finding the name of the church for me. I said the other day I was feeling lazy and uninspired, I hope it'll pass. I might take a break next week...

Anyway, many thanks :)

The tender green has me drooling with envy...
But what about that fabulous sky!!!!

Thanks for the link. I don't think it was that pretty of a day when I was there. Did you find the archery range? It's up the road some then down into a cove. It has a chain across the road leading down so you can't park.

The sky... yes, the sky.

The grass is nice but it wouldn't be much without that sky!

The white of this strange clouds in a blue sky mirrors the yellow patches on the grass. Beautiful.

I thought you were still in Napa! I guess the climates aren't that dissimiilar. Looks like paradise, it does.

A very lovely photo. Not only did you get that nice green grass, but the sky, with the clouds, is stunning, and greatly complements the shot. Nice "G" post.

stunning! Thanks for visiting my blog, and yes, some parts of the Brooklyn Navy Yard has been preserved, the whole places hums with business except for the places I photographed! That is wild that your dad worked there.

I always loved the green hills around Los Angeles in the winter/spring. It was my favourite time of year. Thanks Tash for the dedication. I will check out my fellow ex-pats next. This week I went with geese. I just saw the first pair return. I invite you to come see. - Margy

We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. A few years ago I took my dogs for a run in the mustard, they were all hot and panting, I captured a shot I call Hot Dogs and Mustard.
