People Watching - PVDP in NYC (4)

For our first morning in NYC, we were so hungry & stopped at the 1st place we passed that was serving breakfast. The waiters (of undefined ethnicity - we thought Hispanic) lived up to their NY reputation for standoffish "politeness" - until we persevered and made them all smile - after all, we are from California! The food was decent and we'd go back again. I snapped this series of people watching photos while sitting one table away from the window.

Hello, sorry if I write here but I didn't find your email on the blog. Thanks for visiting Trieste Daily Photo! I've been to Pula many times and love the city. During the summer I usually go to Premantura witch is the headland of Istria. Marvelous! If you are interested in any picture of my city just to help your memory, just drop a line! Ciao.

Hm, the first two weren't looking at the food (that's what I look at when I look into restaurant windows). What were they looking at?

I like these action shots. They capture the diversity of NYC really well.

The name of the restaurant is in Italian...could the waiters have been Italian?
