Looks like Rome to me - check the amphitheater in Verona if you get a chance - I think they perform operas there during August. Enjoy your trip:)

I am so jealous right now! I've only been back to work for a few months and already I feel in need of a vacation! I hope you are enjoying the fun and, that being Italy I'm thinkin', the food!

Does it have luxury boxes? Love the sunlight on the stadium. I'm sure you're having a great time!

WV: ovkchr. What does that mean in Croatian?

Hey! I know that place!
Please look after it while I am away on holiday too (to the other side of Italy).

Pula! The Arena is the only remaining Roman amphitheater to have four side towers and with all three Roman architectural orders entirely preserved. It is the sixth largest surviving Roman arena and a rare example, among the 200 Roman surviving amphitheaters, of unique technological solutions. It is also the best preserved ancient monument in Croatia.

--I'm not THAT smart for all that info, but I know you're from 'my' part of the world, so I Googled 'Roman ruins' in Croatia... :)

Just saw that Cezar and Leia got it, too!

Wow, who knew there were such magnificent Roman ruins in Croatia? Well, obviously you did, but I didn't. I hope you'll show us more. Actually nevermind, I'll be happy with what you want to show.
