My son took the Karmann Ghia on the road yesterday, and he joined the display of classic cars at Brackett Field in La Verne, CA.

Those are some classy looking rear ends.
That's amazing...I had the same words as Brattcat in mind. Okay, well, how about 'dashing derrieres'?
Cool cool. Love these classic cars
Love the angle! Classic cars rock :D
The old car and airplane displays are lots of fun to visit. Back when we lived in Pomona we could walk to the airport (if we wanted). Often we would leave our car at home for week long airplane trips. We'd pack her up, take the car home and walk back. Then when we got home from our trip, walk home again. In those cases we usually unpacked the next day except for perishables. I could also walk down the street to see my horse in Bonelli Park. A pretty good place to live for airplane/horse people. - Margy
Love the perspective of the rear ends!!! Great shot!!!
Thats so interesting "Powell River Books" I'm going to look up Bonelli Park. It sounds familiar
Tash: Your one of those moms I admire so much. Your kid takes risks and your cool with that. No fretting you. He's lucky.
Which one is yours?
Good looking rears!!!
Oh, the very good looking white one - 2nd from the right. :)
Hi Tash - thanks for the note on Ocala DP. You have a Karmann Ghia? I always wanted one. When we lived in Phoenix in the late 50s early 60s a good friend of mine drove one...but they were a bit pricey for a young, newly married guy!
Very interesting shot. Who but you would take that shot of a line of classic cars?
(And I didn't think of rear ends or derriers at all until reading the above comments.)
Always fun to see a vintage car show.
Great perspective!
