The fields are green right now (and maybe for a couple of more months) along the meandering path of the lower section of Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park.(As a kid, I used to love to listen to my mom's 45 record with Tom Jones singing the 'near' title song.)

I never thought I'd say this, living in Florida, but I envy you your green grass...it's been so cold here, our grass froze and it's still all brown!

Took a ride up to Lompoc yesterday and the rolling hills were all this color green. Beautiful!
