A photo a day of Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills & Palos Verdes Estates, located on the hills of PV peninsula at the southwestern tip of Los Angeles county
Looks like he is watching you Tash!
Oh my gosh! And Lois is right, he's either staring you down or ready for his close-up.
Is that a security camera where he is standing? I bet he sees a lot more than the camera.
I guess you were being doubly watched when you took this picture:)
I saw one of these in my avocado tree the other day! A first in 25 years...there was also a squirrel in the tree, I think the hawk was looking for dinner. But he flew away without the squirrel eventually.
He is waiting for someone!:)Adorable picture!Léia
He's got his eye on you, that's for sure. When I ride through the country here, I see hawks everywhere, waaaay up high.
loved enlarging this, you can really see he/she staring straight at you!
They are magnificent birds, beautiful and they have a look in their eyes that almost seems humanly intelligent. Perhaps they are, and they're wondering what we have done and are doing to this world of ours.
The Hawk is obviously a male...bcuz he's staring at you.
You never know, he may have blogged you...
I have a picture of that hawk at the fire station sitting on a light fixture. It's interesting to watch them soar in place against the wind force. Doesn't happen in Pasadena but I've seen this next to the air port a few times now. I hope they're not getting sucked into the jets
Hawk-eyed in more ways than one. Great photo.
Look at those eyes!LL
He/she is a beauty and has found the perfect perch to keep things under control.
Looks like he's keeping an eye on YOU! Great shot.
what a commanding view
"Here's looking at you ,kid"!!!
Looks like he is up to something.... :)
