...which of course leads to a response of, "Are you talking to me?"... which then leads to, "Hit the road Jack."
Sorry, I just could not help myself.
These handsome Desert Cottontails (I think) were munching away on Mr. Trump's grass at the very edge of the golf course, next to a walkway leading to a public park.

Wow those ears are huge!
Great shot! I didn't see the one in the background for a bit. Boy, is Mr. Trump gonna be mad!
Honey bunny! You must have laid on the grass to get this shot.
Great shot, Tash! I am wondering the same thing as altadeahiker. IAre you on the same level as Donald's next victim!?!?! Nice subtle peak of autumn in the background, too.
I had no idea you and the Donald were neighbors. It takes some nerve lying on his grass, young lady.
I must be seeing double. The Hiker told me you had something special today, she knows I'm a house bun mum wannabe. The enlargement, which is now on my desktop, shows a fine moustache and those ears must be pulling in all stations. I think you must have been:
a-camouflaged
b-using a telephoto
c-a seasoned nature photographer
d-all of the above.
It's interesting to me, all the different permutations of cottontails. Here in Florida we have a swamp bun that has very short, round ears. I suppose that's because they don't watch television. They're always getting stuck somewhere and have learned to meditate instead. Very zen.

I wonder if cottontails have ankyls, perhaps even cankyls.
I like these models even better.
PS I googled desert cottontail and yours is the best photo of one that I could find. Cha-ching!
Great puns and great photo! I love how he is looking right at you.
Memories of cartoons...
u put a smile on my face with this handsome animal. And how can I forget that famous line Are you talking to me ?
He's got you in his sights! So cute! I've heard Trumps like bunnies but I think the reference was to another type - the ones that reside in a certain mansion...
I just thought how Trump likes to chew a.. and now other little folks are chewing his grass.
Hey, this is a coincidence. I have a 'Jack" of sorts with cute ears on my blog today, too.
Eat on, bunnies.
When I clicked onto the photo to enlarge it, the veins in his ears were just so marvelous to look at.
Okay, we want to know how you got this shot. I'm in the camp that believes you used a long lens and got down low for this shot.
Cottontails overran my elderly mom's place out in the Mojave. They ate her lawn to bare dirt and literally filled the bare space with wall-to-wall bunny pellets. Yuck! I suggested to the resort management that I was going to call the county health department if they didn't get a grip on the problem. They did something, but never would be able to illuminate them altogether. I watched a bobcat chase them one morning and bang headlong into the house when the bunnies jumped down the rabbit hole at the house footing. Ouch! :-)
I was thinking of you this week and your photos of the new Trump resort where Marine Land used to be. A photographer from up here posted wedding shots he'd taken at a wedding there. I was thinking it must have been among the first weddings held there. Now we know how the Donald stays in business. . .no need to hire lawn maintenance. . .just release the bunnies to work for free :-).

Your bunny photo is so cute.
Nice!! I'll be walking at Mr. Trump's place tomorrow, I'll look out for Jack :)
Nice angle, and I didn't know those bunnies were there. Great photo with lots of personality.
Hahahahaha! This post cracked me up!
That's funny!
Love this post/pic!!! Too cute!!!
