Table/Chair at Tra Vigne

Last February, when I saw this little nook in the courtyard of Tra Vigne restaurant in St. Helena (Napa Valley), I immediately thought of Virginia of Birmingham Alabama Daily Photo.
This one is dedicated to Virginia as part of her Table/Chair Series.
The restaurant was recommended by R., a friend at work, who enjoys good dining and wines, and I did have an excellent meal there.

What a cozy little nook! And with it's own light. I'm going to have to jump on this, I think I know where I can find the right setting.

I notice that Tra Vigne spells Art backwards.

Merci beaucoup mille fois!!! I love this little vignette and a fine tribute to the series it is. I think I see the two of us sitting right there, probably being "overserved" le vin blanc!

PS And thanks to Kim, SeattleDP, who gave me the whole idea of the series in the first place.

I thought you had perhaps taken this photo in France. Very nicely done. Who wouldn't want to sit there and have a nice cool drink and enjoy the day.

I think Virgina has started something with her table and chairs. I posted one a while back, and am looking for more....

I would love to sit on the one in your photo.

How romantic. Is that a patio heater or a light? I imagine you do get cool evenings sometimes.

Nice! It fits right in with Virginia's theme.

That is so gorgeous. I'm working on an idea for my own garden to include arches and a relaxing spot. I'm sure you'll see it, but first... I have to get rid of a termite ridden tree house.

Wow! that's quite a setting, so secluded and good food too.
