"To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a
morning walk or an evening saunter; to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird’s nest
or a wildflower in spring — these are some of the rewards of the simple life." (John Burroughs)

Magnificent sky!
Great picture dear Tash!Congratulations!
Kind Regards
Léia

That's a terrific photo; I find it very difficult to capture birds. But you've done it well; great composition and nice and sharp.

Great shot of a very nice bird. In Italian it is called "fringuello".

Great capture. I never seem to catch the birds at the right time.

Such a small bird and such a thick wire. Shots like this always set me to singing Leonard Cohen.

Nice composition! (And may I say, excellent crop?) I like the way you got the cable in the corners.

A beautifully sharp image for SWF, Tash. The little finch really pops against the Aegean blue sky.

Cute! It's a wonder he can get his little claws around that big cable!

What a lovely lil finch with an even more beautiful sky as a backdrop!

Now that is fantabulous. It seems that the little bird lost his soul in the deep blue sky.
