Stairway to ... Light

Inside the Pt. Vicente lighthouse (in color).

. . .
One of my early posts was of the lighthouse at sunset.

. . .

An exhibit states: "The final approval for the construction of Point Vicente Lighthouse was given in 1916. Due to delays in acquiring the eight-acre parcel of land, construction was underway until 1925. The final exhibition of the 67-foot cylindrical tower was unveiled in the spring of 1926."

Great photo of the stairs. Beautiful lines and geometry.

it's modern art! I like how you framed this - very minimal, brings out the graceful curve of the stairs.
Been thinking of you with all those fires raging - glad you are ok.

I love the way you've photographed these stairs! It is modern art like Knoxville says :)

I enjoy a lot, lighthouses.
This shot of the stairs is quite original and almost B&W!!!

That is the most beautiful scaffolding I've ever seen. I didn't know the lighthouse was ever open. I used to hang out there when I went to Long Beach state. My first exposure to Pedro.

Nice lines in that staircase!

About tiramisu, I'm sure you can find a simple recipe if you do a google search. Why deprive yourself any longer? ;-)

It's already been said but this is more beautiful and graceful than much modern art.
