Hunter, Observer & Prey
Whiskers is the hunter...
Smokey is the observer...
The prey, although he got some exercise, was safe from both.
He's grown up to be a pretty boy/girl. I think it's all about the joy of the threat. After a hard five minutes of hunting, Tovah leaves the great outdoors for a kitty litter break.
This makes me laugh so hard! My dogs wouldn't enjoy life quite as much as they do, it there were no squirrels. It's hours of entertainment for them! :-)

Glad to hear the prey wasn't hurt. Just a cat - a beautiful one - being a cat! So nicely observed.
Nicely done! Those squirrels have moxie. They tease my dogs mercilessly, and then give a scratchy laugh "heheheheh."
If I had a cat, it would be gray. Quite lovely, your kitty! Glad the squirrel was safe...
Supercute!
Phew, glad that cute little squirrel was safe from those adorable hunters!
Well, teamwork has no bounds! Squirrels are safe here as well from Winston.
I love these photos. Smokey looks so intense! :)
What great shots. Are they your cats? They are gorgeous :)
The look on the squirrel is priceless!!
"Come on guys... Come up if you dare!"

This is a great series of photos! Great post!
Great storyboard of images.
Very cute. I bet it takes a fair bit of brushing to keep that neat though!
Excellent post! I love the whole illustrated story.
I love the gray color - of the cat AND the squirrel!
Lovely triptych! Very ambitious cat:)
Who won???... :-)

It's a never ending drama with squirrels. We have loads of them around our house and Smokey could be my cat, it's a perfect resemblance.
What a cutie! Thanks for coming by and dropping all these nice comments on my blog!
