"Q" is for Quartz Mountain, Oklahoma (ABC Wednesday with PVDP on Travel)

Quartz Mountain resort with Twin Peaks
Sunrise
Since I am breaking the 1st rule of City Daily Photo, I might as well break more so as to show the beauty of the Quarts Mountain resort in middle of Oklahoma. I was lucky to be able to stay and hike around the resort during last August's business trip to Altus Air Force Base.

Lucky you. I always think of Oklahoma as being flat.

Maybe you broke the rules, but these are beautiful....I know the 'other' Twin Peaks in Washington state....but there really aren't any twin peaks!

Lovely photos. I've never been to Oklahoma, so I have no idea what it looks like there. You have everything from a close-up of a butterfly to wide vitas!
I have also chosen the word 'quatz' for Q-week! But I have used it in a way that fits in with the main theme of my blog.
Best wishes,
Anna
