I swear, I think birds are the most responsible parents in existence. They give their young the food right out of their mouth, yet know when it's time to kick them out of the nest.

The first photo is very tranquil. Looks like a place one could sit and view the pines and the lake all day.
Mama duck does have her hands (er, wings) full with that flock of ducklings. So precious. :)

Gary & I got married at Convict Lake on July 20, 1996. We are divorced but absolutely still appreciate the great memories. It is awesome up there, I need to go back! Love all your photos of this wonderful land...
