Summer Clouds (SkyWatch Friday)
Warm, humid weather moved in with the clouds last night. This morning we had " "Scattered showers hit parts of Long Beach, San Pedro and surrounding cities Friday morning amid hot, humid conditions.", as reported by LA Times.
I bet that is a bit of relief. I couldn't believe the news last night that said it was 115 in the LA area. I remember it getting hot when I was there but nothing that bad! Try and stay cool. - Margy
Superb capture, Tash! Magnificent skies and such gorgeous colors! Don't envy you the hot humid conditions, that's for sure!! Thanks for participating in Sky Watch as we begin our 4th season!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Love the colors in the first one. We are having that humid weather here too. I took some pictures this morning of large white thunderheads. Will post those next week.
beautiful photo of the pine tree. I'll bet there were lots of us out last night taking sky photos. The clouds were like a beautiful watercolor-- not to mention a big rainbow in our neck of the woods...
Tash, the colors of your sky are like a watercolor. Hope you are getting some relief from the heat. That last photo is wonderful - like an etching with the golden-hued sky behind the silhouetted tree.

Oh I forgot, I wanted to tell you the bottom picture looks like a pen and ink, watercolor wash...NICE!!
It may be hot and humid, but the sky sure looks heavenly!

Was the rain a relief? Or did it just seem hotter with the humid air.
What is the tree in the second shot? It looks like an inverted Christmas tree.
Excellent sky!
Oh wow! Gorgeous sky!
Whoa! Super shots!!!!
