Our talented and funny blogger friend «Louis» of San Francisco Bay DP has launched the Sunday Bridge Series starting today!
My subtle contribution to the meme is the little bitty view of Vincent Thomas bridge, along with the jumble of cranes from the Port of Los Angeles, that can be seen from Western Avenue just south of PV Drive North. The 'empty' stretch of land is the "Defense Fuel Supply Depot which occupies most of the large parcel of land stretching from North Gaffey Street to Western Avenue, adjacent to the Ponte Vista Property and the LAPD Pistol Range" in San Perdro (ref. NORTHWEST ADVOCATE, the Newsletter of the Northwest San Pedro Neighborhood Council - Autumn 2009).

Beautiful orange with the sunset colors..
shucks..can you re-download this one? It doesn't want to seem to enlarge when selected. and I like this image very much. Mysterious and gone to seed (my favorite state of being)

Ooooh, look at that gorgeous light on the orange 'whatever'!
Very beautiful and creative.
Love the luminescent barrier in the foreground echoing the colors of the horizon.
This is one heck of a good image. Really great.
I suspect your orange block of being a little bit of the sunset fallen to earth.
That's a unique and very cool shot. I like a lot.
